The relationship between teachers and students is the most basic interpersonal relationship in teaching activities. In recent years, with the development of the concept of harmonious education, various problems concerning teacher-student relationship in teaching practice have got more and more attention. Therefore, the establishment of harmonious relationship between teachers and students has become one of the most significant tasks in the educational field. Although some achievements have been got in the study of establishing harmonious teacher-student relationship, few scholars have ever combined the research of harmonious teacher-student relationship with specific subjects. Based on such backgrounds, the present study tries to link the establishment of harmonious teacher-student relationship with ideological and moral class, focusing on the problems when establishing harmonious teacher-student relationship in ideological and moral class.This thesis is divided into four parts. The first part gives a brief introduction about the background and significance of the study as well as the theoretical foundation, describes the study process and methods, and elaborates the difficult and important points and innovation of the study.Part two defines the meaning of ideological and moral class and harmonious teacher-student relationship. First of all, this part introduces the definition and characteristics of teacher-student relationship. Then the definition and characteristics of harmonious teacher-student relationship are described. Finally, the connotation of harmonious teacher-student relationship in ideological and moral class is talked in detail based on the characteristics of ideological and moral class.Next comes part three in which the problems and reasons are analyzed in terms of the establishment of harmonious teacher-student relationship in ideological and moral class. Some specific disharmonious phenomena in teacher-student relationship are presented and the reasons for which are elaborated.Then part four, the main part of this thesis, offers some detailed strategies in establishing harmonious teacher-student relationship in ideological and moral class from the following five aspects: teachers, students, schools, society and parents.
