As the academic and scientific researches were know no national boundary, the demand for bilingual talent has become more and more urgent. However, since advocated by the ministry of education, the research and practice about bilingual teaching has been converted into a u-shaped trend, and the trace of the related research gradually faded out. Modern physics experiment is an important compulsory curriculum for the student of physics specialty,and the course of the theory and practice of bilingual teaching research has become significant. But it has not received the due attention.This paper mainly through three parts to complete the discussion and research in theory and practice of modern physics experiment bilingual teaching. First, through consulting a large number of documents, it distinguished the relevant concepts,such as professional English teaching and basic English teaching,to deepen the understanding of bilingual teaching. and it also analyzed the theoretical basis of bilingual teaching from the angle points of physiology, psychology, linguistics and pedagogy. Second, it compared and analyzed the questionnaire survey on bilingual teaching of modern physics experiment in college students. Combining with the contents of the modern physics experiment course, the teaching form is flexible,it analyzed the necessity and feasibility of bilingual teaching in modern physics experiment. Last but not least, it designed two teaching practices that can be carried out based of the analysis on the theory. The author has made some brief statement for the design concept about the teaching objectives, teaching process and methods, and some concrete suggestions were put forward to simulate the possible problems in the concrete real implementation of the classroom.In the last chapter of this paper, the author made a brief summary of the conception, design, and contents in the paper, and it also made corresponding reflection about the limitation in the paper. The author hopes that this thesis can catch the attention of education scholars and makes certain contribution for the bilingual teaching of physics experiment.
