Mr Zhao Henglie as a pioneer of history education academic circlein our country, has always been highly praised by the scholar.For now,the researches on his education teaching theory are also much, but on his academic theory achievements arecommitted to his overall achievement summary,and not for his work “The Research on History Thinking Ability” in his old age that marking his history thinking ability theory, and that usually as an academic achievement in his life, The author thinks what is formed since the early 1990 s until he died on the eve,and the theories about reorganizing and integrating his academic achievements,so that forming a set ofcomplete history education discipline theory.therefore, this article attempts to analysis germination, background, content and course applicationMr to clarify its development.This paper is consisted of five parts:The first part mainly combing with his life story and through summarizing Mr Zhao Henglie’s education practice and teaching material compilationachievement and so on,to comb thebackground of history thinking ability theory.The second part is the main content of the paper.This part analysis and explore four components of history thinking ability theory,such as image thinking ability, logical thinking, inspiration thinking and emotional thinking ability and creative thinking ability to summarized the theoretical results.The third part analysis and comparesthe application modes andteaching practice examples of history thinking ability theory in high school with the process of establishing and forming,to discuss and testify practice feasibility and practicability of thehistorythinking theory.The fourth part mainly focuses on discussing and evaluating Mr Zhao Henglie’s exploration and the final achievement about history thinking ability theory in the process of the formation.
