Since the reform and opening to the outside world, C hina’s higher vocational education outputs a large number of much-needed higher technology applied talents for the socialist modernization. What’s more, higher vocational education also plays a leading role in speeding up the process of popularization of higher education and promoting the social progress and the economic development. However, due to the late development of higher vocational education in C hina, the quality of higher vocational education in general has faced some quality problems. It not only can’t properly handle the relationship between vocation and academic, but also need further research the theoretical and practical problems of educational quality. On this background, the study of graduates’ teaching quality promotion approaches and relevant problems has become particularly urgent and important.The study analyzes the higher vocational education outcome from colleges, employers and students. The education outcome means the quality of higher vocational institutions’ graduates and the factors which influences the educational quality of college graduates. First of all, we take ShanXi Vocational Technical College for an example, finding the current situation, problems and the reasons of higher vocational education in C hina. Meanwhile, we can find the shortage of the traditional evaluation methods. So a new creative evaluation methods—Z Scores, is put forward in the study. Secondly, from the perspective of employers, the factors can be divided into two main categories: one is a graduate of professional skills; the other is the comprehensive ability. In particular, the factors include professional skills, communication skills, team ability, personal qualities, initiative, flexibility, practical ability. The study shows that there are two basic stages during the employment process. The first stage is the recruitment stage. The employer in this stage will be very focused on graduates’ professional competence which means graduates’ professional knowledge and professional background. The second stage is employment stage. In this stage, professional competence is not important, students’ comprehensive ability draw more attention. From the study, we found that higher vocational institutions should pay more attention to the standard of accessing to vocational colleges, the quality of teachers, the teaching resources, rational curriculum and the cooperation with enterprises. What’s the higher vocational institutions measures should comply to the employer’ requirements for education output- graduates.The data obtained from the investigation and research, mainly uses the software such as spss and excel to carry on the statistics and processing of the data information. Using the software of computer statistics software to analyze the survey data, not only make the evaluation of the results of the information has a higher credibility, at the same time, to a certain extent, save the cost of evaluation improve the quality of education evaluation system. In addition, through the analysis of specific cases and the detection and verification of the relevant evaluation factors, the method of improving the quality of higher vocational education is found.
