Since higher education in China has stepped into the popularization stage, Highervocational education experienced a rapid development, which has undertaken theimportant task of cultivating high quality and skilled talents for the society. At themeantime, complains for higher-vocational colleges and higher-vocational educationincreases. Without high quality higher-vocational education and lacking alignedlearning and using, higher-vocational colleges and higher-vocational education arefacing great challenges now. Improving education quality, making learning aligned forusing are issues that higher-vocational colleges and the public concern. Unreasonablehigher-vocational curriculum structure and irrelevant content are main reasons forabove problems. As a result, the research for course satisfaction in students, theinstructed, is of great significance in solving the issues of low education quality andunaligned learning and using.Referring to researches of student satisfactory surveysdomestic and overseas, this research designed the scale of higher-vocational studentsatisfaction for curriculum, and investigated in five dimensionalities related tocurriculum according to traits of higher-vocational education, making threehigher-vocational colleges in different levels in Hunan as respondents. Conclusion isas follow. Higher-vocational student satisfaction for curriculum is among general andsatisfactory, among which, teachers’ teaching gets the highest satisfactory, and theirtheoretical knowledge reserve received the highest score. However, teachers’assistance after class and their ability to practice is most unsatisfied. Curriculumresource gets the lowest score, since higher-vocational students are unsatisfied foroff-compose practice base and access to such opportunities. Gender has nodistinguished effect on higher-vocational student satisfaction for curriculum, whilestudent satisfaction for curriculum varies in terms of grades, colleges, majors,characteristics, attitudes and efforts put after class. From the Angle of grade,Higher-vocational student satisfaction for curriculum from high to low in order for afreshman, junior, a sophomore; From the school level, student satisfaction forcurriculum from high to low is a provincial demonstrative higher vocational, nationaldemonstrative higher vocational, ordinary higher vocational colleges; From the Angleof professional type, partial institute of technology, professional type studentsatisfaction for curriculum higher than that of partial arts professional types;Personality characteristics, attitude in class, after class invest time satisfactionpositively correlated with student satisfaction for curriculum. The analysis of theresults of the survey, Suggestions for the improvement of higher vocational studentscourse satisfaction: higher vocational colleges should starting from controllable factors, Colleges should reform curriculum provision, strengthen curriculum management,improve curriculum resource, enhance teacher quality as well as the style of study;cultivating students’ learning initiative.
