Non continuous text is stepping into our lives and work in more and more frequency, and becomes an essential part of our daily life, we only have the ability of accessing to the required information rapidly, we can solve the problems of daily life effectively and keep up with the pace of our era. How to collect and collate information effectively is one of the essential survival skills for our contemporary students.The research hypothesis is that the "Outline" strategy has the promotion function on students "noncontinuous text" ability. The core concept of study is the "Outline" strategy, the research method is practical research, the research tool is a test paper, the test objects are researcher’s own students (38 grade students). The researcher was conducting teaching practice and was in charge of Chinese course of one class of Grade 8 in X middle school from September in 2014 to February in 2015. The research was conducting according to the teaching design and teaching actual needs and combining with the object of measurement to arrange the former test, post test stnd test time. Besides, the author collected and sorted the related data effectively.This study obtained the following four conclusions:The implement process of outlining:Firstly, enable students to master the "Outline" by using the method of "continuous text"; summarize the "Outline" content according to the different types; teach students’ methods and procedures of the "Outline"; show students’ status quo of sorting out the information and their abilities of text analysis.Secondly, carry out the "outline" migration from "continuous text" 6 "non continuous text" by the method of training; Style is changing, but the essence of "Outline" strategy is the same, the key is to guide students to realize the "Outline" migration strategy. According to the conmon "discontinuity" texts of three types-interpreting the images of general table topic, graphic combination problem and question text fragments respectively, the paper is aim to impart different "Outline" strategy,and solve students doing "non continuous text" the difficult questions.Research outcomes:Firstly, the application of "Outline" strategy makes the students’ "non continuous text" ability improve significantly, which can be seen from the content level and the operational level.Through this study, the author is able to lead scholars to concern" the promotion of non continuous text" ability and make "Outline" more complete and thorough so as to explore suitable ways to enhance students’ abilities of a"non continuous text".
