With the reform and opening-up policy and continuous development of market economy, people’s thoughts of marriage are gradually changing, the number of abnormal family like single-parent, divorced are also increasing year by year. As a typical representative of abnormal family, education of children from single-parent family has many problems. Due to lack of management, or unable to supervise, or rough education, some of the children from single-parent families lose confidence about the future, some children even have certain psychological problems, which brings difficulties to school’s education management. In secondary vocational schools,the proportion of single-parent families students are also on the rise year by year, this paper attempts to use theory of humanized management and carry out psychological counseling, to find some common psychological characteristics of single parent families of students, and find out corresponding education strategies and methods from the perspective of schools and teachers, and to do some beneficial exploration on education management of single-parent family students.Secondary vocational school students from single-parent families are special group of people who are sensitive and self-contemptuous. Management by rules and regulations can only solve the problem of “Don’t do”, but cannot solve the problem of “How to do better”. School education and management pursue the scientificity, but ignore the human nature, which has exposed many limitations on setting of management goal,organization of process, the contents, the management method and so on. Humanized management focuses on the respect to people and equality, pays attention to emotional communication, gives people spiritual encouragements, and provide growth and development opportunities for people. These features are very in accordance with needs of students’ education management from single-parent families, which points out the direction of the management for such students.This article is divided into six parts. The first part is introduction, briefly introduced the research purpose and significance of the research topic; The second part introduces the theroy basis of the research, it includes concepts definition, theroy basis, research status, research methods; The third part uses 300 students from a secondary vocational school in Yantai as the research object, carries out the mental health test(MHT). Based on the analysis of the questionnaire, I found that students from single-parent familyand normal family have obvious differences in mental health. For students from single-parent families, tendency of loneliness, anxiety to people and tendency of remorse are the main psychological problems, after which the paper analyzes the status of single-parent family students, and points out that single-parent families students have five aspects of problems in cognitive development, emotional development and so on; Through the questionnaire and interviews to school counselors, the third part analyzes the present situation of the humanized management of the school and the existing problems; The fourth part analyzes the causes of single-parent families student education management problems from two aspects of students themselves and the school; Based on the humanized management theory,the fifth part puts forward the strategy of the single parent family student management work from the two aspects of the school and the teacher; The sixth part is the conclusion of this paper,it concludes the methods to deal with the education and management of single-parent family students by psychological health analysis and humanized management.
