The Actuality And Analysis Of Swimming Curriculum In Common Undergraduate University Of Heibei Province

Research purposes: By means of research the present situation of the ordinary undergraduate swimming course in Hebei province, to explain those existing problems in the swimming lessons and puts forward the corresponding improvement measures, and then call for more colleges to set up the swimming courses and make it more standardized.Research methods: In this paper, by way of the documentation method, interview method and questionnaire method to interview the part of the colleges leaders, experts, and the physical education teachers in Hebei province the venues, we can get the real situation of the swimming facilities and swimming activities. At the same time, through survey the student’s current situation, the activities, extracurricular activities organization form and related problems can provide the valuable first-hand information for the research of this paper.Research results:(1) The situation of swimming curriculum in common undergraduate university of Hebei province as follows: Leading of these Universities ordinary have low degree of attention, swimming courses at low, start school less than one fifth, and the commencement of a short time, mostly for 4-12 hours, 36 hours to go to individual schools, with an average time of about 6 hours into the water.(2) The swimming venues and other hardwares statistical results in common undergraduate university of Hebei province show that Hebei swimming complex has a small number in common undergraduate university of Hebei province, only one school has swimming pool, swimming pool less than one third of schools, and the north and south regions of the uneven distribution of cold northwest area(Zhangjiakou, Chengde, etc.) are almost have no swimming facilities; the vast majority of venues obsolete equipment, lack of teaching aids training equipments.(3) The swimming textbook usage in common undergraduate university of Hebei province as follows: Most colleges and universities use the "University Sports Course" as teaching materials which is introduce less teaching swimming, teaching the syllabus content is 36 hours, while the actual teaching content of only 18-24 hours, the water situation does not match the actual textbooks and teaching undertaken cannot meet the actual teaching requirements, Sports ineffective.(4) The swimming lessons teachers in common undergraduate university of Hebei province as follows: Swimming teacher professional background is very low, teachers are generally part-time teachers to other projects in some colleges, the proportion of part-time teachers only 5% of PE teachers, special swimming teacher scarcity, shortage of PE teachers of one percent, there is a swim teacher lifesaving certificate less than 5%.(5) The student to the swimming lessons teachers teaching evaluation as follows: time is short, low overall demonstration ability evaluation. Due to the uneven level of student body, the operation of the acceptance of different, cannot fully meet the needs of students.Conclusion:(1) Leading have low degree of attention in common undergraduate university of Hebei province, swimming courses at low, colleges which offer swimming lessons in class time is short, the average time is about 6 hours into the water.(2) Few swimming complex number in common undergraduate university of Hebei province, uneven distribution of north and south region, northwestern cold areas barely(Zhangjiakou, Chengde, etc.); and the vast majority of venues, obsolete equipment, lack of teaching aids training equipment.(3) Most of Hebei common undergraduate universities use Hebei University Press published " University Sports Course " as a textbook, teaching swimming introduce less, the actual launching and teaching conduct inconsistent situation, can not meet the requirements of actual teaching, sports effect is not obvious.(4) The swimming lessons teachers have low professional background in common undergraduate university of Hebei province, Mostly of them are part-time physical education teacher, lack of special sports swimming teacher.(5) The student to the swimming lessons teachers teaching evaluation overall satisfaction is not high, they hope through teachers demonstration, and individualized students according to their own situation, at last can fully meet the needs of students.
