| Problem-based learning (PBL) put students in real problem contexts, where the students could relate what they have known to real life, experience other roles and carry out self-directed learning. Thus students can construct their own knowledge framework, improve the capabilities of solving real problems, and cultivate interests in learning and their initiatives simultaneously. In real teaching environment, the author finds that students are not interested in what teachers taught and they could not concentrate in class. Author decided to adopt a two-stage action research to test the effectiveness of PBL in the application of information technology disciplines in high school and explore effective application policy of PBL in information technology curriculum in high school. Finally, the study result indicates that PBL are effective in the High school information technology courses, and could provide ideas and methods to the high school Information technology teachers who have similar difficulties. |
