Chinese literature education has existed since ancient times, after the Chinese as a separate course, literature education is what, which occupies in the whole Chinese education’s status, the vicissitude of the problem has been taken care of by the majority of language education, in today’s era, literature education is paid much attention in the Chinese Education, literature education and objective embodies literature education content, at the same time, it also has a great influence on the literature education methods, especially with the effect of multi culture on literature education, including the education idea and thought, thinking of the literary education theory is more frequent, therefore, how to grasp the content of the literature education has become the focus of the content of literature education. Taking history as a mirror,the correctness of the literature education selection can directly affect people to make the right choice, therefore, on this issue in-depth study is very necessary from the perspective of history. This paper mainly to the related theory knowledge of literature and literary education as the starting point, on the history and the related content of nearly 100 years since the contemporary primary and middle school literature education carries on the reorganization, the combination of the history, this paper focuses on the content of the in-depth discussion and summary.This paper mainly from three aspects to study literature education contents of contemporary schools reform, and on literature, literature education, literature education contents and relevant concepts, and to investigate the current situation of the study today. Then the paper focuses on the research of hot, facing the contemporary primary and middle school literature education sensitive issues.The author thinks that the relationship between literature and education development since ancient times is two, from the ancient "no poem, no words" to the present new education concept put forward "the joyful education", literature is the one and only acts as a carrier and medium of the role. The contemporary primary and middle school literature education is not groundless, it has the existence of historical and realistic followed, will help us better to the contemporary primary and secondary education content arrangement and on a macro study of modern literature teaching of historical development and the specific content of the ancient.Reviewing China’s literature education history will have a clear understanding of the direction and goal of the current primary and secondary education content reform.From the social political cultural trend point of view, the contemporary Chinese primary and secondary school literature education content change has not been from the "text", "Tao" struggle; from the research of literature education to establish literary education, contemporary Chinese primary and secondary school literature education is walking on the subject of self identity on the road; from the literature education contents of contemporary primary and secondary literature education content reform of Chinese contemporary literature education is based on modernity transformation pointer efforts.
