The "core area" of the human body is a concept which is put forward from the point of view of anatomy. The strength of the human lumbar spine, pelvis, and hip muscles, such as the muscles and ligaments, is called the core area and the core area has a very important role in all sports. The theory and method of modern physical training is different from the traditional training, pay more attention to the deep muscles in the exercise system and the role of small muscle groups in the action. At present, in the field of professional physical training, modern physical training methods have been widely accepted and applied. But in the basic level of training, due to various conditions of the restrictions, the vast majority of the use of traditional strength training methods. In the full understanding of the basic level of training, the use of modern physical training concepts and methods to improve the basic level of training, to enrich the content of the basic training, has a very important practical significance.The core strength of basketball players and the ability to bounce in the core stability is the basis of the completion of various technical actions in the game. This study is based on the 24 male students in the basketball class of Chancrous Normal University. Through the basic project test and ranking the 16 students in the middle of the quality level. 16 students were randomly divided into experimental group and control group. A group as a control group to carry out the traditional strength training,B group is carried out with the suspension training method based on physical training,as the experimental group, the ten week of the two week of physical training for a period of time. After the training, through the comparative analysis of the data, the following conclusions are drawn:1. The suspension training method of physical training scheme can enhance the core stability of the students in basketball class, but the training time is not enough and the students in the actual test action does not reach the designated position, when seen from the experimental data are not obvious.2.Suspension based strength training method can significantly improve thebasketball special students’ core explosive power. Through experiment and test data comparison, the experimental group of students in a kneeling position with both hands on the head of the throwing solid ball, supine hands chest push solid ball, single knee kneeling side solid ball throwing three test index was significantly improved. While the three indicators of the control group was significantly less than the experimental group.3.Suspension based strength training method can significantly improve the basketball special students’ ability to control the unstable state of the body. By comparing the test data, the experimental group of students in the experiment before and after the improvement is very significant, the control group students did not significantly improve. There were also significant differences between the two groups in the magnitude of the increase. It is concluded that the suspension training method is very effective for the training of the physical control ability of the basketball special students in the unstable condition.4.Suspension based strength training methods can significantly improve the students’ ability to bounce. In to the standing five level jump, in-situ continuous jump five times touch of two test index test, score of experimental group appeared significantly improved, the performance of the control group no significant changes.In the comparison of the results, the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group.5.There was no significant improvement in the two groups in the absolute altitude test, but the students in the experimental group were observed to show better movement effect, such as stable buffer landing.
