“Teaching is for sake of no needing teaching” is the core of Ye Sheng-tao’s ideology. In 1972, United Nation Education Development and Reform Commission make a point that “in the future education, personal oneself should be the education object.” The futurologist Alvin Toffler make a reasonable judgment, witch said, the illiteracy in the future is not a man without knowledge is but the man who dose not know how to learn. Therefor, no matter cultural difference or regional disparities, the development tendency of education is everyone should strengthen self-education ability.View from self-government angle, self-motivation is the vital composition part. American famous psychologist William James said that human’s original rare is to be asserted. Recently, chief president Xi clearly put forwards that “making people have a sense of gain.” Alone with time change, the main ideal of this epoch is to fortify main body consciousness, promote the main body position,however,any advances have been accompanied by persistent problems, the same in this area. So self-motivation utilized the transformation of the subject and object in education to make self-management a bright future.Six parts are used to describe self-motivation problems. First part is introduction, composed by three sections,significance of the subject, research overview and research methods. Secondly is notion summary, which is the entry point of the whole paper. For this part, define the connotation of self-motivation is the main role, next is to analyzing process of self-motivation, thirdly is elaborate the relationship between self-motivation and other related education category. The third segment is the whole paper’s theoretical basis. In this section, using different theorists’ achievement to prove this paper, such as:Marx’s related theory about subject and subjectivity; Rousseau’s theory of natural education; David McClelland’s achievement theory; Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory; Erich Fromm’s expectation theory; John Adams’ social comparison theory. In the forth part, the author point out the main achievements got in this area, the key problems of self-motivation and the causes of the related problems, which aim at the current situation in self-motivation issue in this half. In the fifth section, direct at the causes of this issues, pointing out some countermeasures leading to the present situation in three educational fields, like schooling, social education, family education. Firstly, strengthen students’ subjective sense, then, make the guidance of public opinion positively. Secondly, take the advantage of the characterized of campus culture, combined individual education and collective education together. In sum, how to guide reasonable of family education play the significant role for individual growth. For the last part of this paper, the author indicating the theoretical significance and practical significance of self-motivation to concluded the paper.
