Learning psychology is an important branch of education psychology, It is a science that specializes in researching people especially for the student groups. In recent years, learning psychology has become the subject that educational psychologists and educators are concerned about, which has accumulated a large number of research results. The learning psychology is based on the nature of students’ learning, it sums up a series of learning theory and doctrine from the study of learning process, ways of thinking, behavior, physiological mechanisms, types of learning, cognitive theory, information processing,memory theory, learning strategies, study skills, learning transfer and so on. Learning psychological theory and methods can solve students’ learning and behavioral problems fundamentally and achieve the purpose of scientific study. However, empirical study for the high school chemical element teaching design that based on the learning psychological theory is also rare.Therefore, exploration based on learning psychology for high school chemical element teaching design has important application value to reform the current chemical teaching methods and improve teaching efficiency.On the basis of previous studies and characteristics of the chemical elements, this subject adopts the method of empirical studywhich for the chemical element teaching design based on learning psychology. The research object are 84 students in two parallel class whose grade is senior one in Youxian County, and randomly assigns one class as the experimental class, the other as control class. Research materials are questionnaire about the learning situation for fresh students of high middle school and the high school chemical elements teaching design based on learning psychology. Apply the chemical elements teaching design to practice in experimental class while the control class still using the traditional chemical elements teaching design.Collect their chemical test scores that before and after the experiment, and uses the SPSS15.0 for statistical analysis.The results showed that:( 1) The chemical elements teaching design based on learning psychology which compared with the traditional teaching can improve the students’ chemical performance effectively.(2)There are no significant gender differences between the effect of the practice of the teaching design based on learning psychology and the traditional teaching design.(3) On the basis of different chemical experimental teaching students the effect of differences, to enhance the performance of students with learning difficulties was greater than that there was no significant difference between excellent students and excellent students andsecondary students to enhance the rate of secondary students. All in all, there is awareness of the use of instructional design based learning psychology can improve student achievement in high school chemistry teaching chemistry, and therefore, in high school chemistry Teaching of Psychology of Learning instructional design is based on very necessary.
