It is more and more common that kindergarten teachers are using classic music for the class. The way the teachers use the music, involving different type of genres, various contents and how much they used it, affected how children understand the music. This study focuses on summarizing and analyzing how the kindergarten school, which is chosen as the case study in this research, is using classic music for their daily class. Then,there are some evaluation and recommendation to point out the pros and cons in this case study, which can be regarded as reference for kindergarten teachers to use in the future.This research is a case study of how the chosen kindergarten school uses classic music on their class. The structure includes a brief introduction, academic research,literature review, field research and seven interviews with the teachers, who work in the kindergarten school. At the beginning, the research introduces how the kindergarten school chooses the classic music. Then, how they use the music and how they conduct class activities related to the music. Next,conclusion section will clearly summarize the results—four factors, influencing how kindergarten teachers choose the music for class, are personality of the kindergarten teachers,personality of the children, the class music itself and external supportive elements.Based on the analysis and evaluation, the conclusion section will summarize the suggestion from the case study.Those suggestions are: first, be careful to choose the music.Second, how to choose the music is based on the personality of the kids. Third, give the music a clear image and make it personal for children to understand it easily. However, there are also some problems how the kindergarten schools to use the music showing up during the research. For instance, those problems could be: where to find the good source of the music,the matching standard of the music, whether it is necessary to edit the music and the ignorance the meaning of the music,whether it is better to use the more classic one and the importance of the music and the activities. In conclusion, the problems could be summarized into two parts: the first is replication and repetition of how to use the music from other kindergartens; the second is misinterpretation of the original meaning of the music. Based on the problems, two concluded recommendation could be stated: first, the music chosen to show in the class should be easy to understand by kids and be reflected in their lives; second, when kindergarten teachersuse the music, they should pay attention to the reaction from the kids to the music.
