Under the demands of economic construction and social construction, postgraduate of social work aims to cultivate senior professionals which are good at using knowledge. Social work perseveres in reforming in the process of its localization, it transform from emphasizing on only knowledge to emphasizing on both knowledge and practice. The practical model of task groups are an innovational try of the practical part in social work education. Social work practical model of task based group is a method which combines task driven with group work, it explores the group characters of different stage by drawing the task driven into practice, and bring specific task in the practical processes.This article discusses the whole process of the task group practical model of social work from the view of a participant. Firstly, the article introduces the design of task group practical model of social work on basis of relative theories. Secondly, this paper mainly discusses the implementation processes of this model by analyzing task characters and performance of different stages include:group preparation, initial stage, middle stage, later period and evaluation, so that to transmit from conflicts to communication and achieve the communication and interaction among the group members, show the practicality of social work. Lastly, reflecting on the practice and give five suggestions so that to make the model perfect.Experiences have proved that this new mode aims to help students with establish a value of social work, develop the practical ability of social work, provide the experience references for achieving the goal of social work education and optimize the practical education.
