Since 1999, our country universities enrollment began, the difficult employment issues of university students became the focus problems of the state and society. The employment of university students relates to the stability and the rise and fall of the families and the society. However, what factors affect the employment of university students?Previous studies on university students’ employment of human capital theory and social capital theory have only paid attention to the quality of human capital and social capital. The innovation of this paper is to pay more attention to the choice of university students’ employment units and divide that into monopoly and the public sectors and non state owned enterprises. Then this paper studies on the human capital and social capital quality of university students with different employment.According to the related theories of human capital and social capital and the previous scholars studies on human capital and social capital dimensions, author established overall and different gender graduates binary logistic model. This paper did the research on university students and employment units. First, 480 questionnaires were distributed to university students, 404 questionnaires were recovered and the quality of university students with different employment units were analyzed by statistical description and binary logistic regression in SPSS. 200 questionnaires were distributed to the employers, 156 questionnaires were recovered, using SPSS method to analyze the human capital and social capital of undergraduates which employers think important in the recruitment of different employment units. According to results show that from an overall point of view, political landscape, grades, relevant certificates,computer proficiency, English proficiency, practice experience of the human capital have positive influence on graduates worked in monopoly and public sector. Network scale, network top, family social status, parents’ social status, the number of key person of the social capital have positive impact on graduates worked in monopoly and public sector. In the non state owned enterprises, university students should have grades,computer proficiency, the relevant certificates, the practice experience, the scholarship of human capital and the network scale of social capital. From view of the gender characteristics of the samples, the male and female work into the monopoly and public sectors need to have the human capital dimension is the same and be same with the total sample, but the influence of each dimension is different. The female worked into monopoly and public sectors need network scale, network top, relatives social status and parents’ social status of social capital and the male worked into monopoly and public sectors only need network scale and relatives social status of social capital. It can be seen that the male have more advantage than the female working into monopoly and the public sectors.According to the above conclusions, this paper put forward suggestion on successful realization of university students’ employment choice from the view of university graduates, universities, employers, families, government. First of all,university graduates should formulate reasonable goals and perfect the employment preparation. Second, the employers should ensure recruitment standards and communicate employment information with students. Third, universities should reform the training mode, pay attention to the comprehensive quality of students and change their concept of employment choice. Fourth, pay attention to the families guidance and rational expectation of employment choice. Finally, the government should improve the information exchange to create a good employment choice environment.
