| The employment of college graduates,has been concerned by the education administrative departments and all levels of government.The number of college graduates has been increasing over the years,which causes not only the phenomenon called "the most difficult employment season in the history" with chinese characteristics,but also the positive influence on social harmony and stability,steady economic growth,the spread of civilization,and the continued healthy coordinated development of higher education.Guizhou province is a less developed province in Southwest China,and the level of higher education has a certain gap compared with the developed areas in eastern China,which results in the higher pressure in the employment competition.Howto effectively improve the employment competitiveness of college graduates in Guizhou,has been the concern of the local government departments,colleges and universities at all levels,and people of all walks of life.Through studying the factors affecting the employment of college graduates in Guizhou,we can not only reveal the recognize errors presence in college graduates aiming at their employment problem,but also help the government and education administrative departments to achieve scientific policy-making in the employment of college graduates.Therefore,this research has important practical significance.The research uses the methods of literature review,questionnaire,Logistic model analysis,etc.and comprehensively analyzes human capital theory and social capital theory to study factors influencing the graduates employment in Guizhou.By constructing the model of influencing factors,we get the decisive factor in several factors affecting employment,and through empirical research methods,the results have been tested.This study uses the questionnaire and makes a survey of the initial employment situation in some universities in Guizhou 2016,2017 graduates.The data are standard processing and brought into the Logistic model.The results show: age,political affiliation,class cadre position,computer proficiency,part-time,college communityactivities participating,professional and vocational certificates,and English scores have a significant positive impact on the results of employment.The highest occupation of the college graduates’ parents has a positive impact on the employment results,but not significant.The highest occupation of the college graduates’ relatives has a significant positive impact on the employment results.Household nature has a significant negative impact on the employment results.Obtaining the honor certificate is a significant negative effect on the employment results.Influence of gender,nationality on the starting salary is not significant.Political status,class cadre position,computer proficiency,part-time,college community activities participating have a significant positive influence on the starting salary.Obtaining the honor certificate,obtaining vocational certificate related professional occupation and English scores are significant negative influence on starting salary.Academic qualifications and double degree are positive influence on starting salary,but not significant.Learning achievement and participation in the competition in science and technology are negative effect on the starting salary.According to the research results,the researcher puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions from three aspects of individual,government and University in order to promote the employment of college graduates in Guizhou. |
