In 1932, our country made the first standard for high school music course in the education history. With the great development of economy, technology and culture, the society needs more and more talents. In order to train th e people who can go with the national and personal development, the standard for high school music course is innovated and developed continuously.The music appreciation course plays important role in making high school students have fine aesthetic taste and lofty character, which is an important way to aesthetic development. In 2003,the promulgation of “general senior high school music curriculum standard(experiment)”improved the innovation of music education of high school. After 10 years, there are some problems in the real teaching practicing to be solved for some high schools. The paper takes Shandong Tengzhou No.1 Middle School for example. Tengzhou is relatively advanced in economy and culture in Shandong province and even excellent in the development of county-level cities all over the country. The school is the only one provincial key school and can represents the highest teaching quality of the province. Meanwhile the school is the mother school of writer who have interned for music education here and have more information of that, which provides convenience for the study. The paper focuses on the cause of music study and strategies and tries to give the suggestions to the students in developed educational regions who have same problems, which has something meaningful. By questionnaire,interviewing,statistics, the paper research the situation of music appreciation model from school, teacher and student. From the research, the paper finds the cause of problems and analyze the problems of high school music education of Tengzhou. According to the demand of standard, it is necessary to seek strategies from many aspects like social environment, teaching concept, teaching model, teaching process,evaluation model and physical and mental development of student.The paper can be divided into three chapters. The first chapter is the questionnaire data analysis of teachers and students of Tengzhou No.1 Middle School by chart and graphics. Meanwhile,there is the introduction of opening of music appreciation model by words. The second chapter analyses the cause of problems of the students music study from social environment, school, teacher and student. The third chapter provides specific strategies to excite the students and improve the lesson quality based on the standard and combined with the advanced concept of foreign countries. The final purpose is promoting the excellent music course, making the school play first role in Tengzhou and key high schools of Shandong province, practicing the relative demands and training the comprehensive innovative talents for country and society.
