The other goal of education is to balance urban and rural education development, promote fair distribution of education resource, narrow the level of education gap between urban and rural region under the background of modernization of education’s Constant development. Therefore, as an important platform for the healthy development of middle school students, Ideological and moral lessons in Junior school play a crucial role in the growth of the students.Currently there are 25 junior high schools, five of which are located in the city, namely Dianjiang high schools, Dianjiang vocational middle school, Dianjiang Experimental High School, Dianjiang No.1 high school, Dianjiang No 10.high school; the remaining twenty secondary schools are situated in the township area. the Ideological and moral lesson gap between urban and rural areas can not be ignored although a certain commonality exist.The thesis makes a comparative study through questionnaires, attending lectures and field visits, etc. From the several angles which include teaching resources, teaching objects, classroom teaching, curriculum assessment. At last, the thesis concludes that : Overall, the status of urban ideological and moral teaching is better than township’s. There is a little difference in teaching mode and curriculum assessment between Urban and rural junior high schools, while teaching resources and objects vary greatly, and it is obvious that Ideological and moral lessons in urban junior high school are better than rural junior high school. Specifically speaking, the city junior high school ideological and moral teaching equipment and facilities, student’s quality is better than the township junior high school’s; on the other hand, in rural junior high school, students can become more hard working because of ideological and moral lessons.The writer analyses the condition and concludes several reasons: Firstly, junior high ideological and moral teaching in rural region are not paid enough attention;secondly, teachers in rural junior high school are not qualified enough, and they do not attach importance to their own development; Thirdly, township junior high school students do not pay attention to ideological and moral lesson; Fourthly, the spirits of enduring hardships are not enough because of the geographical location.On the basis of the above situation and cause analysis, this paper puts forword solutions from the transformation of teaching concepts, building practical platform of moral lessons, teacher training, cooperation of schools.
