Study On The Employment Of The Indendent College Graduates

In recent years, independent College plays an important role in the non-government funded education which belongs to commonweal enterprise as same as governmental higher education. Independent College is built as a new type of education mode more in line with the development of the society in the new century, which accelerates the innovation of our country’s higher education system and mechanism. In the past five years, the whole society gives much more attention to the college graduates employment problems. Due to the lack of public recognition of the independent college, its graduates employment situation is very serious. Furthermore, it is also an important factor not only directly affects the quality and the number of their enrollment of students in the long term but also affects the survival and development of university in the future. For sustainable development, it is vital to deeply analyze and study the employment of independent college graduates, and to improve graduate employment in the Independent College.This study based on the analysis of the students’ employment ability in the independent college, then further analyze and discuss on the student’s ability to problems in the process of employment. First of all, the author has carried on the investigation among the students in the independent college and analyzed the present situation of their current employment status, then summarized the advantages and disadvantages of students’ employment ability and the problems existing in the graduates. Finally, the author draws a conclusion:for college graduates, the main factors of poor employment ability are due to the weak theoretical knowledge and professional skills; next, society also gives them a huge psychological pressure which makes them self-centered, low self-esteem, lack of independent initiative and independence. As a result, they have no plans on their career. Second, The author put forward some reasonable suggestions about the present employment situation of independent college students, encourage the students self-employment, and call for greater government support, and other measures to improve the ability of independent college graduates employment and to promote the employment work.
