Effect Of Ligustilide On Physical Function Of High Level Basketball Players

Purposes: The muscles of high level basketball players will appear different degrees of hypoxia conditionin the training and competition. In this research, whether Ligustilide has the function of sports nutrition supplements were proved through monitoring the changes of high level basketball players’ physical quality and physiological function who have taken Ligustilide to discuss the influenceon the athletes. Methods: Taken fifteen high level basketball players of Zhengzhou University as the research objects and divide them into two groups randomly which one is nutritional supplement group(S) and the other is control group(C). The intervention cycle in this study is eight weeks. These athletes train six days a week and have a rest on Sunday. Small cycle plate training program was used in their train. A total of three tests whose test items include Blut-Routine-Untersuchung(Amount of red blood cell, Plasma hemoglobin concentration, Mean corpuscular-hemoglobin concentration, etc) and Physical Fitness Test(Fifteen meters running test, Thirty meters running test, Forty meters running test, Bench press, Squat, Upthrow, Reach height, etc)were performed individually in the beginning of the experiment, training after four weeks and training after eight weeks. Results: After eight weeks’ training, compared with the test results got before the experiment, Amount of red blood cell, Plasma hemoglobin concentration and Mean corpuscular-hemoglobin concentration of the athletes from Group S have a significant improvement and the value of P is less than 0.05. While these test indicators of the athletes from Group C is almost the same as before and the value of P is greater than 0.05. After eight weeks’ training, the test result of four hundred meters running test of athletes from Group C was significantly higher than before. The difference was significant and the value of P is less than 0.05. Both the athletes from Group S and Group C make a little progress in Bench press, Squat, Upthrow, Reach height while the value of P is greater than 0.05.There are 38% athletes from Group S feel relatively easy subjectively before the experiment while the percent of the athletes from Group S who have the same feeling is 68% after eight weeks’ training. There are 38% athletes from Group S feel tired subjectively before the experiment while the percent of the athletes from Group S who have the same feeling is 13% after eight weeks’ training. Compared to Group S, before the experiment there are 13% athletes of Group C who feel relatively easy subjectively and 38% athletes feel tired while after the experiment the percent is 0% and 57% correspondingly.Conclusion:Supplementary Ligustilide can increasethe number of red blood cells and hemoglobin concentration which can make great effect on the capacity of Aerobic work. Besides, supplementary Ligustilide also have a positive impact on the athletes’ physical quality, promoting the recovery of fatigue whichcan lay a good foundationfor improving the athletes technical and tactical level.
