It is an urgent task in the development of education to train a large number of first-class teachers and improve teachers’ overall quality. Education is an important way to improve the national quality and promote the formation of a good social ethos. The development of universities’ teachers derived from the development of young teachers. Therefore, the development of young teachers decides the future direction of higher education and the quality of talent training.In recent years, along with the strengthen of the cultivation of young teachers in colleges and universities, there emerge a large number of young teachers with high quality and strong ability in colleges and universities. They make an indelible contribution for the qualified talent cultivation and higher education development. But, with the reformation of economic system, some young teachers’ ideological and political ideas are easily affected by bad thoughts and then show the lack of faith, the indifference to the social and political problem, the perfunctory to work, the emphasis on material gains above justice and so forth. In addition, young teachers and students are almost the same age in university. It is easy for young teachers to become the object of college students to imitate. Young teachers with unqualified ideological and political quality are easy to pass the wrong ideal faith to students. Therefore, a study on ideological and political quality problem of young teachers in colleges and universities is imperative.So with the related theory of ideological and political education as the basis of analysis, The paper discusses the problems of young teachers in the ideological and political quality and analyze the causes of these problems by the literature research and questionnaire survey. Finally, the measures of enhancing the ideological and political quality of young university teachers are put forward from the level of society, school and individual.
