Higher education is served as the frontier for providing and delivering high-tech talent for the future development and construction of China, while the development of colleges and universities depends largely on the quality of college teachers. Thereinto, being the backbone of college teachers, young teachers play a vital role in increasing the comprehensive strength of colleges and universities, and even in promoting China's higher education cause to go abroad to the world and eventually to build the world "double first-class university". In recent years, the number of young teachers in colleges and universities has shown a significant growth trend. In particular, a large number of young people who have freshly graduated gradually enter colleges and universities and assume important teaching tasks as well as management positions; nevertheless, as the the people who are supposed to lead college students to mature, young teachers, whether in terms of academic level or ideological and political quality, should be an example of student learning. With the deepening of reform and opening up, the three reflections of a few teachers have appeared some "subtle" changes. Young teachers inject "fresh blood" into the group of college teachers ,thus becoming a backbone of the ranks of college and university teachers; because there is almost little difference in the age of young teachers and college students. Therefore, it is imperative to enhance the ideological and political qualities of young teachers. This paper aims to provide suggestions for improving the ideological and political quality of young teachers in colleges and universities in China by searching the relevant literature and conducting a questionnaire survey to analyze the ideological and political quality of domestic young teachers at present.The first part: Introduction. This part briefly explains the research background of this article, and discusses the research significance of the ideological and political quality of young teachers in colleges and universities. It briefly introduces the relevant literatures at home and abroad, the research ideas and methods of this paper, and puts forward innovation points of this article according to the literature .The second part: This chapter is an overview of the ideological and political cultivation and education of young teachers in colleges and universities. In this part, the author first explains the relevant concepts,and finally analyzes the significance of cultivating the ideological and political quality of young teachers in colleges and universities from three aspects: the country, universities and young teachers themselves.The third part: Combining the feedback results of the questionnaire sent by the author, this part briefly analyzes the current state of mind of the young teachers in colleges and universities and the reality of the cultivation of their ideological and political quality.The fourth part: This part is the core content of this article, suggesting the relevant countermeasures mainly from the country, universities, and teachers themselves three perceptions. First of all, the state should raise the importance of cultivating the ideological and political quality of young teachers. Secondly,colleges and universities should improve and strengthen the four areas: cultivation methods, contents,mechanisms and environment. Finally, young teachers should pay attention to whether their psychological level is abnormal,learning from the excellent experience at home and abroad and enhancing themselves.
