With the rapid development of computer technology and multimedia technology,the Games Based Learning software, which is combined with the digital games, is a hot research upsurge of educational games. Under the impetus of the wave of information technology, more and more teachers and students to join the digital game based learning software to the theoretical research and practical application, the successful cases at home and abroad can be found everywhere, but throughout the game based learning software of successful cases, most of them are relying on a type of game environment or the network platform, as a teaching method applied to. And there is little research on game learning software design. Therefore, it is very necessary to design a model for the Games Based Learning software.Through consulting and collecting a large number of documents and a teaching case analysis to the domestic and foreign successful, first of all, the author of game learning software design model to do a preliminary design, and in the practical application process, the reference some successful cases, and professional education software design of teachers and students are discussed. The research work of this paper includes: first elaborated the research problem and combined with the data collected in the introduced research status at home and abroad, this paper points out the content and purpose of the study and put forward the corresponding research methods; secondly introduces the research focus and theoretical foundation, which including the inquiry learning theory, constructivist learning theory, hierarchy of needs theory, game learning theory, projection identity theory, flow theory; re analysis of the general pattern of instructional design and game design, combined with the analysis of successful education game case, summarize and put forward an inquiry game based learning software design the model, including the determination of teaching objectives and the overall game design, practice of software development,debugging and application, evaluation and feedback of five modules; Then according to the specific process of model design and development practice, including the teaching goal analysis, learner analysis, learning content analysis, game model selection, game set, the game character set, game scenarios and the development of software selection, material preparation, software design and implementation process of game software from scratch; then introduces the software implementation after debugging, application and evaluation of the specific process, including: software debugging, software application preparation, software process, software application evaluation feedback, summary feedback, put forward the improvement scheme;finally, through the summary for this research work process, finishing the study on the harvest and achievements, and puts forward the problems in the course of the study and the prospects for future work.In this paper,Instructional Design, Game Design Principles as the theoreticalbasis, through the analysis of successful cases in China and abroad, put forward the general design model of inquiry learning game software. And according to the design model, using the flash animation technology developed which is applicable to assist junior high school mathematics curriculum game learning software, and through the application and evaluation of the software of continuous improvement and improved design model. And providing the software product design basis theory and practical reference case for researchers and developers of educational games, can effectively help educational game development and research work.
