Primary school is an important period of growth of children. In this period, not only should children accept the contents of the materials in the school, but also accept the emotional education. The emotional education of students mainly from school, from the teacher.And it is an important way for teacher to cultivate children’s view of life and value. Today, in the environment of new curriculum reform, the vast majority of educators have been aware of the importance of emotional education and the concrete practice.However, under the background of exam oriented education,there are still some teachers ignore children’s emotional education. Therefore, it is necessary to study the emotional education in Chinese reading under the new curriculum reform.Starting from the study of emotional education in Chinese of primary school, in reference to the domestic and foreign related literatures, through questionnaires and interviews and analysis of actual teaching cases, we found in the process of Chinese teaching and learning, there are still focused on cognitive but not emotional, excellent lesson plans and excessive use of multimedia such as unreasonable phenomenon and based on these issues, proposed some of his own reflection. In this paper, the concept and characteristics of emotional education, status and reflection, from the pupils’ Chinese reading of based on the theory of elementary student psychology, education and the new curriculum standard, proposed in the Chinese Reading Teaching in the infiltration of the necessity of emotional education and the specific measures. At the same time, the primary school language reading teaching also involves some practical problems, should arouse the attention of teachers, need to be further improved.
