The Research On Patent Cooperation Network Of Domestic Agricultural And Forestry Universities

Research capabilities and technological innovation ability of agricultural and forestry colleges and universities represent the national agro forestry research level and the tendency of cutting-edged technologies. The study of agriculture and forestry universities scientific research cooperation can provide decision support not only the scientific research management from the macro level but also subject choice and cooperative scientific research topic selection from the micro level. The study analyzed the patent cooperation dynamic evolution of the whole network in domestic 41 agriculture and forestry universities from the perspective of patent cooperation, through the patent measuring method and social network, based on entropy gray correlation method to find important Universities and significant R & D team and its core members and identify their research topic. The study shows that connectivity of network is gradually strengthened but isn’t connected, density remained low, less interaction among organizations, knowledge and resources transmission channel is blocked, members are difficult to access to resources from the network. But small world phenomenon gradually appears, node communication is smooth and the effectiveness of information is improved, it’s easy to acquire new knowledge and arouse the creativity of the node. There is Matthew effect in research cooperation network. Provincial cooperation is given priority and knowledge localization is severe. Furthermore there is a preference of cooperation with those regions which are in the critical transmission control paths of knowledge and resources such as Beijing, Jiangsu. The regional cooperation embodies the principle of proximity. There is a tendency of establishing cooperation relations between colleges and enterprises but the distribution of cooperation between them are irregular. The cooperation application rate is low in three selected universities. The study finds that their technology hot spots have their own characteristics, but there are interdisciplinary research field. The numbers of the main research teams are around four with prolific subject matter experts as core team members.The team research topic is clear and professional. Finally, based on the current status and characteristics of domestic patent cooperation network of colleges, I put forward the model of effective scientific research cooperation and policy guidance to enhance the level of research and influence in domestic agriculture and forestry of the colleges and promote the further development of agriculture and forestry universities scientific research cooperation.
