With the rapid development of China’s economy and society, Urban floating population has increased dramatically. Since the reform and opening-up policy, Guangzhou has been one of the most migrant workers gathered cities, Baiyun district of Guangzhou as an urban area, at the center of the city with a rural migrant workers population, relatively frequent. Many migrant children followed their parents came to the city, faced with changes in living and learning environment. There emerge some psychological behavior problems, but more and more people pay close attention to the floating children mental health problems. Mental health education is an important part of quality education, has an important influence on the healthy growth of the floating children.To understand the status of migrant children primary school’s mental health education, Application of self-survey and interviews in the research, respectively studied 161 teachers from three schools in Baiyun district, that include the goal of migrant children primary school’s mental health education, the content, the implementation, the evaluation, as well as to specified in below three main point within five administrators and ten teachers from different schools: A. Basic information about the development of primary mental health education in this area B. The ideal and the goal of teachers C. The method of applying. The research deeply analysis current status of the problems existed in Baiyun district, and finally come out target improvement suggestion.The research indicated that the migrant children school’s mental health education in Baiyun district of Guangzhou existed problems in six expects: 1. There are some deviations on the goal of migrant children primary school’s mental health education among educators. 2. Content of migrant children primary school’s mental health education is not balanced. 3. Teaching method is traditional in single method. 4. Lack of desire for education resources from out-world. 5. The evaluation system is not scientific for students.6.The unequal distribution of professional offices and psychological teachers in public and private school.Based on above research and analysis, here conclude some measures: 1.To change educator’s concept for migrant children school’s mental health education must follow 3 ways:a.Attached much importance to migrant children school’s mental health education. b. To have a comprehensive and objective view for students. c. To have s scientific goal in migrant children school’s mental health education teaching. 2. To build a more Professional teaching team. 3. To rich the teaching content and method in migrant children school’s mental health education. 4. To create a more harmony and health environment for students.
