New curriculum standard implementation since 2011, our country middle and primary school music education, great changes have taken place in the new curriculum standard proposed feature and basic idea of the curriculum, curriculum design, curriculum objectives, etc., for nine years of compulsory education stage music teachers’ quality put forward higher requirements. Quality education in China has a number of years, cultivating a large number of high quality music teaching force, the correct understanding of the importance of quality education in students, the problem of how to improve the quality of primary and secondary school music teacher, teachers how to depend on music curriculum standards improve their comprehensive ability are the current music education in the important problem to solve.Implementation of quality education is a education workers need to do a comprehensive and complicated work, every link of education requires teachers to grasp the teaching scale, a ring set of a ring, step by step, so as to improve the music in the importance of quality education. The author of this paper around the primary and secondary school music teachers under the new curriculum standard how to build their own comprehensive qualities as the thesis guidance, from theory and questionnaire two aspects, the study of quality education. In the theoretical research part, has discussed under the new curriculum standard system of primary and secondary school music teachers should have what kind of quality, from the compulsory education stage of primary and secondary school music teachers should have the basic quality and professional quality, and how to build a music teacher’s comprehensive quality put forward its own personal advice. Questionnaire research part stick to primary and secondary school music teachers should possess under the new curriculum standard of professional quality, from the aspects of music theory knowledge, music, and the connection between the other sister arts, teacher education knowledge, ability of singing, playing music teachers, auditory perception, student interaction ability, creative ability and scientific research ability, modern information technology to investigate targeted operation ability, etc. The following conclusions: the professional quality of primary and secondary school music teachers focus on pure music master of knowledge, the pedagogy, psychology, teaching method and other aspects of the education teaching knowledge understanding is not deep, the lack of research on music teaching and music teaching practice research ability, lack of the consciousness of criticism and self-criticism, the concept of lifelong learning is not too great, higher normal music education, rural primary and secondary school music education are not perfect enough. So as soon as possible with the new curriculum standard for primary and secondary school music teachers and axle, must start from the following aspects to enhance the overall quality of primary and secondary school music teachers: changing the concept of music teacher education, set up the new curriculum standard; Constantly update music discipline knowledge, cultivate teachers’ positive learning ideas; Adjust measures to local conditions, strengthen rural music education; Higher normal music education and compulsory education to music curriculum standard system; Constantly enrich and improve music teachers’ continuing education, meet the desire of teachers’ self-development; Continuously strengthen music teachers before and after induction training; Establish good relations of cooperation between teachers, improve teachers’ work enthusiasm; In the self-evaluation and mutual constantly improve their professional quality.
