In order to promote the development of basic music education,the Ministry of Education issued the "full-time compulsory education music curriculum standard(Trial draft)" in 2001.The new curriculum standard puts forward new ideas under the new situation,and puts forward new goals and requirements for music teaching in the compulsory education stage.Since the implementation of music curriculum reform in 2001,it has been 19 years,and has achieved some results.In 2011,with the trial implementation of the music curriculum standard for full time compulsory education(hereinafter referred to as the new curriculum standard),the education departments and primary and secondary school teachers all over the country are actively implementing it.In line with the basic idea of taking aesthetics as the core,training and improving talents,they always pay attention to the problems in the music classroom in primary and secondary schools,in order to improve the teaching quality,change the teaching concept,and make quality-oriented education more advanced deep level.Education equity,the sustainable development of education and the comprehensive implementation of quality education are also the issues that people have been concerned about.However,there are still many problems to be solved in the implementation of the new curriculum standard.For example: the source of students,teaching equipment,leadership attention,etc.,but mainly reflected in the teaching quality of music teachers.The teaching accomplishment of music teachers is not comprehensive and perfect,which leads to the obvious deficiency in the development of music class and the difficulty in solving the problems existing in the teaching.Based on the distance between the quality of primary school music teachers and the requirements of the new curriculum standard,this study makes a detailed and in-depth discussion on the teaching quality of primary school music teachers in Xinfeng County.This paper studies the teaching quality of music teachers in Xinfeng primary school,mainly through questionnaire survey and interview to investigate the population background of music teachers in Xinfeng primary school,teachers’ mastery of the new curriculum standard,the basic status of teachers’ music quality,and the basic elements of music quality,and to analyze the final data of the questionnaire.The ultimate goal is to understand the overall situation of Xinfeng County Primary School Teachers’ teaching literacy,and analyze the existing problems and put forward relevant suggestions to solve the problems.
