High qualified vocational school teachers with professional spirit play a very important role in sustained and stable development of vocational education. First, vocational school teachers can often get better results in teaching with professional spirit, so vocational school teachers’professional spirit can affect the quality of vocational education and training directly. Second, enterprises start to pay attention to vocational school graduates’professional spirit currently, they need graduates not only having professional skill, but also possessing professional spirit. The cultivation of students’professional spirit depends on teachers. Vocational school teachers can train students’professional spirit purposefully and also enhance students’professional spirit through the influence daily. We can find some vocational school teachers always have enthusiasm in work, they never give up when meeting difficulties. What professional spirit do they have? Job burnout can also be find in some other teachers and they work negatively.We need to sure whether their professional spirit exist some problem, finding out the reasons and propose effective recommendations.The relevant research on the teachers’professional spirit is started late, the quantity is not enough and the quality is not high. Furthermore, the relevant research is mainly the summary of educational activities’experience and materials arranged. It lacks of relevant theoretical research and empirical research. Based on this and thinking above, the author conducts the research to the vocational school teacher’s professional spirit in Shanghai, in order to achieve a breakthrough in the basis of the original research. The research analyzes the constitutive and status of vocational school teacher’s professional spirit, provides effective countermeasures and suggestions to enhance vocational school teacher’s professional spirit.The dissertation includes five chapters, the details of which as follows:Chapter one is introducing the study background, summarizing the related research domestic and overseas, presenting the research project and defining the core concepts.Chapter two is to analyze the components of vocational school teacher’s professional spirit. Firstly, establish the research plan. Secondly, through interviewing method and questionnaire method to get the information of the components of professional spirit. Finally, analyze the the components of professional spirit of vocational school teachers through qualitative and quantitative analysis.Chapter three is to investigate the status of vocational school teachers’ professional spirit in Shanghai. Research tools are designed by the components of vocational school teacher’s professional spirit. Through the questionnaire survey of vocational school teachers and students in Shanghai to get the research result. Then analyzing the overall situation of professional spirit, the situation of professional spirit of teachers from different backgrounds, the problem and reasons of professional spirit.Chapter four is to make suggestions of vocational school teachers’ professional spirit in Shanghai. According to the the status of vocational school teachers’ professional spirit, analyzing professional spirit and people that should be focus on and putting forward effective suggestions to enhance vocational school teachers’ professional spirit.Chapter five is the reflection and prospect. To sum up the work was done, we will have a clear direction to begin the future work.
