In recent years, countries have accelerated the pace of curriculum reform in Colleges and universities,so local colleges and universities should response to the national call and insight into the needs of enterprises, in order to practice more high level and innovation ability strong outstanding graduates to the society and enterprises.The reform of Undergraduate Tourism Management Specialty Practice Teaching is under the situation. To strengthen the practice teaching of tourism management major and cultivate students’ practical skills are the urgent needs of the tourism industry and tourism management students.In this text, we use many ways like literature research, survey research methods, statistics, case studies to investigate and research for the case of Bohai University, Liaoning Province. Through the research of Bohai University School of Tourism students,to explore the problems of implementation and management practice teaching tour. Questionnaires were distributed 300 copies, respectively, from practical teaching curriculum, teaching methods, teaching resources and evaluation methods four dimensions to reflect the specific circumstances of the local tourism management in University Professional Practice Teaching. These surveys provide a more authentic material of this study.This text is divided into four parts to study:Part 1: Introduction of the research background, content, research status and research design, Through discussing the importance of practice teaching in recent years,leading to practical teaching whether put into effect or not in Colleges and universities.Summarize problems and countermeasures of practice teaching at home and abroad.Part 2: Through the use of a chart from the curriculum, teaching methods, teaching resources and evaluation methods four aspects to reflect the problem of tourism management in practice teaching.Part 3: Specific analysis of the cause of the problems: single practical courses, can not meet the growth needs of student’s life; practice teaching formalization, the lack of strict implementation and supervision; lack of teaching resources, the school’s emphasis on teaching practice is not enough; evaluation methods still need to be improved, the lack of evaluation of the quality monitoring system.Part 4: Put forward countermeasures of reform of Local Colleges and Universities of tourism management practice teaching: rich curriculum type to promote student life growth; rich form of teaching practice, strengthening practice teaching management; reasonable increase investment in teaching resources and perfect practice teaching evaluation system.
