The direct beneficiaries of higher education, undergraduates are engaged in the whole teaching process, thus their satisfaction can apparently reflects the quality and level of their universities. In order to make a conclusion, the research is based on the Customer Satisfaction Theory and the data selected from the survey on the undergraduates at the University of Shandong in the CCSS project. Besides, this research also sets up six hypotheses known as "teaching input greatly influences students’achievement." (H1), "education input greatly influences student’s satisfaction. "(H2), "students’achievement greatly influences their satisfaction."(H3), "students’interests in their majors greatly influences their achievement."(H4), "students’interests in their majors greatly influences their satisfaction."(H5) and "statistical variables of student population greatly influence students’satisfaction."(H6).Through various methods such as descriptive analysis, factor analysis, path analysis as well as cluster analysis, this research reaches many conclusions:Teaching input and students’ achievement has a linear relation with students’ satisfaction. (2) Students’interests in their majors greatly influences their achievement and satisfaction. (3) Among the average scores of all education input factors, Teacher-student interaction is the lowest while classroom instruction is the highest;(4) From the aspect of demographic variables, such variables as grade or subject does not have great influence on students’ satisfaction, while gender does; (5) on the basis of scores of variables of students’satisfaction, respondents are divided into 3 groups:low-satisfaction ones who tend to be independent or exclusive, high-satisfaction ones who tend to be highly coincident and intermediate-satisfaction ones who tend to be negatively obedient. Therefore, the research concludes that students’satisfaction should be taken into account as a supplement in the quality evaluation of education; the important role played by teacher-student interaction in teaching should be highlighted; more attention should be paid to the development of students’ interests in their majors so as to create as many opportunities for undergraduates to increase their interests in their majors as possible; relative cares and supports should be given to students of different satisfaction levels.
