A Study On Professionl Abilitycultivation Of Vocational College Students

To strengthen the training of professional ability is the important task of deepening reform in vocational colleges. In this paper, using the research methods of literature research, survey, drawing lessons from German KOMET evaluation technology, carried on the investigation and interview to the mechatronics speciality in the four sample colleges. It reveals some problems on professional ability cultivation in vocational college. There is not enough attention to core ability training to students and the imperfection of the employment guidance course and staffed; Some of them are lack of school-based teaching material development and pertinence of teaching material; College-enterprise cooperation and training mode of work-integrated learning is not accepted by students, and the effect of training is not good; On the curriculum, courses are solidifying and conservative, lacking of humanistic education.In view of the problems found in the investigation, this paper put forward the ascension of vocational college students’ vocational ability training strategy effectively on the basis of situational learning theory, multiple intelligence theory, and policy requirements of vocational education and our country.First of all, higher vocational colleges should base on the circumstance, set up the correct professional core ability training target, strengthen the employment guidance to correctly guide students in career planning. Secondly, higher vocational colleges should develop teaching materials and build professional ability training course system with its own characteristic. And it should set up reasonable basic course and specialized course, balancing the relationship between them. Optimization of knowledge structure, promote the students’ professional thinking ability to all-round development. Again, in the aspect of teaching staff construction, colleges should strengthen the professional ability of school-based training, school-based teaching and research of professional ability, promoting development in teaching and research, strengthen the management of teachers’ professional ability training level. Finally, compile professional core ability check list in accordance with the mechatronics speciality, set up strategies such as professional ability academic score system based on the characteristics of professional subjects.
