since 2001, Chinese curriculum standards of compulsory education to actively promote and encourage students to read the whole book, junior high school students is in the key period of the development of life. Read the whole book to open a broad cultural space for the students, the construction of which the students consciousness of whole set, the reading ability of promotion, the good habit of form and spirit world have a crucial role. However, in fact, there are some problems, such as fragmentation, thin and narrow, shallow and so on, which are closely related to the teachers’ guidance consciousness and the improper method. Taking students as an example, aims to explore teachers of junior high school students "reading the whole book" strategy, in order to improve the situation of students’ extracurricular reading the whole book. This paper is divided into four chapters, the introduction part, the background and significance of the research on contents of domestic and foreign research present situation, key concepts. The first chapter of the junior middle school students "reading the whole book and teacher’s guidance problems. Chapter two analyzes the causes of problems, in the third chapter, from the three aspects of reading interest, reading habit, reading method of, in the macro discusses the teachers of students "reading the whole book guiding, the fourth chapter, from the micro level, discusses the teachers in guiding students to read different types of books and carry out the learning activities, including poetry, novel, prose and drama reading guidance is the key part of this chapter.
