Primary stage, which is the beginning of nine years of compulsory education, is a pivotal and fundamental period in which children develop good habits and basic skills.Writing Chinese characters correctly and neatly is the basic guarantee of effective written communication and that is why we should teach our students. It is the basis for students to learn Chinese and other courses, and to develop lifelong learning abilities.Loving Chinese language, developing good writing habits, training good writing skills,and having a preliminary appreciation of calligraphy are the basic qualities that modern Chinese citizens should have and it is one of the goals of basic education curriculum in our country. Writing teaching is the basic section to cultivate the comprehensive quality of primary school students. Therefore, childhood is the most important time when we should make their handwriting standard. In our society, it is obvious that the students have poor ability of handwriting and quality of handwriting is declining seriously. Consequently, finding the key to the problem is particularly important. As the saying goes, Rome was not built in a day, we should lay a good foundation in primary school.The paper summarized the importance of Chinese character writing, and analyzed the significance of Chinese character writing in theory and in practice. By this survey,to complete Chinese educational theory and offer useful guidance, in the meantime, to offer reference to education and teaching reform. In order to find own cut-in points, I will learn previous Chinese character study methods in related documents at home and abroad. Search 5 primary schools in Gaomi city apply to means of conversation,observation and questionnaires. The study is based on educational theory and information technology teaching theory, offer theoretic support and cut-in point by these theories. Through the analysis of the investigation and summarization,summarizes the lack of time in writing teaching in the elementary schools, less professional teachers, writing teaching strategy reform slowly, normative problems such as insufficiency, the method of the single, and analyzed the cause of its existence.Last but not least, I will come up with the strategies to solve these problems.First,Reasonable arrangement of teaching time and improve teaching efficiency;second, promote the teaching level with the help of information technology; third,improve teachers’ quality, establish writing specifications; forth, enrich teaching methods, stimulate students interest in writing; fifth, lead the student to develop good habits by various ways; sixth, to communicate with their parents by regular and more ways. To investigate such facts as the basis, supported by theory, put forward more feasible writing teaching strategies.
