In 2005,the Fifth Plenary Session of the 16th Central Committee of the party put forward an important measure of the "building a new socialist countryside",hoping to speed up the pace of rural development, in order to smoothly solve the"three rural issues".However,due to the development of rural areas lack of high-quality talents,so slowly progress.In order to vigorously promote the development of rural areas,the State encourages college graduates to work in rural areas.Since the 21st Century, affected by the international financial crisis, the employment situation of college graduates in China is very serious.In this context, the state promulgated a series of relevant policies to encourage college graduates to work in rural areas, such as "College-graduate village official", "three supports and one alleviation",in solving the employment of college graduates as well as providing the a large number of high-quality talent to the rural, but with little success.At present, the employment of college graduates has become an urgent problem in rural areas,and the rural has great development space and potential.In addition,college graduates need to go rural areas,and servicing for the rural.Therefore,the research about the problem of college graduates employment and rural work is particularly necessary.This paper selected the Changsha University graduates from 2012 to 2014 as participants,and carries out research on the problem of graduate employment in rural areas.Through the analysis of rural employment situation and employment intention,the main conclusions of this study are as follows:First, the personal factors includes gender, only child, homeplace and rural cognition and all have a significant influence on the rural employment of the graduates.The foregoing three factors on the employment of college graduates in rural areas exist negative effect,however rural cognition exists positive effects.In addition,in Changsha County that economy is relatively developed and in Hongjiang City that economic is less developed,there is a gap,and individual factors have larger influence on rural employment intention in less developed areas. Second, family factors include parental occupation, parental educational level, family income and family social network,and these factors will exert a negative effect on the employment of the rural graduates, namely the better family economic conditions is, the less likely to choose employment in rural areas.In addition, through comparing the current situation between Changsha County and Hongjiang City,the result shows that the more developed area economy is,the lower rural employment intention of graduates is.Third,social factors include policy advocacy, public opinion and employment pressure,and all have a significance on the rural employment of graduates,but among three factors,there is differences.Policy advocacy and employment pressure have positive effect on rural employment of graduates,but public opinion shows negative effect.Also, there is a difference between Changsha County and Hongjiang City, mainly reflected in policy advocacy and public opinion, the more developed areas are,less affected college graduates employment in rural areas are.Finally, through summarizing the rural employment situation and employment intention of Changsha University graduation,the paper analyze the problems existed in the employment of college graduates in rural areas, and puts forward the four proposals, also has reference significance to promote the employment of college graduates in rural areas.
