In recent years,the state has introduced a series of relevant policies and measures and local government-related employment measures to encourage and guide the employment and entrepreneurship of college students.This paper believes that the formulation and promotion of employment policies have an important impact on the employment intentions of college graduates.As an important part of the group of colleges and universities in our country,private colleges and universities have their particularities.Therefore,this paper takes graduates of private colleges and universities as the research object to study the impact of employment policies on the employment intentions of graduates from private colleges and universities.)to conduct descriptive statistical analysis;then,to explore the differences in employment policy awareness and employment intention of graduates from private colleges and universities under different economic and social background characteristics;The causal relationship between students’ employment intentions,and its influence direction and degree of influence are analyzed.The study found:(1)Different economic and social backgrounds(college type,family economic status,family location,parental occupation,and number of children in the family)have different effects on private college graduates’ awareness of employment policies and employment intentions.Among them,the degree of awareness of the grass-roots employment policy of the graduates in the arts and humanities is significantly higher than that of the medical and science subjects;the degree of awareness of the grass-roots employment policy of the graduates with better family economic status is significantly higher than that of the graduates with poor family economic status;Graduates whose families are located in cities are more willing to go to first-tier cities for employment;male graduates have significantly higher salary expectations than women;humanities and arts graduates have significantly higher employment salary expectations than medicine,and graduates of science and engineering have higher employment and salary expectations.Salary expectations are significantly higher than those of arts and medicine and medicine;graduates with better family economic status are more willing to choose to be admitted to civil servants or public institutions,choose freelance,self-employment,and further education.(2)The influence of employment policy awareness on the employment intention of graduates from private colleges and universities.When the awareness of grassroots employment policies is not high,private college graduates are more willing to go to first-tier cities and other big cities for employment,and with the higher awareness of entrepreneurship and employment policies,private college graduates are more willing to go to first-tier cities.Large cities such as cities for employment.In addition,as the awareness of grassroots employment policies increases,private college graduates have lower expectations for employment and salary accordingly.(3)Focusing on the research results of the employment policy affecting the employment intention of college graduates,it is found that there are the following problems: college graduates have low awareness of employment policies,the incentives of employment policies are not good,and the employment concept of college graduates needs to be optimized.Therefore,a series of policy suggestions are put forward from the following three aspects: first,strengthen the publicity of employment policies,including(1)strengthen the publicity of university policies;(2)rely on employment talent service agencies to provide employment guidance services;(3)carry out community employment(4)Entering enterprises to carry out employment guidance activities;(5)Five aspects of entrepreneurship training services.Second,the government needs to comprehensively strengthen the incentives of employment policies,including(1)broadening employment channels for college graduates;(2)formulating more operational and stimulating policies.Third,individuals need to establish a correct employment concept,including(1)adjusting their mentality and actively seeking employment;(2)taking the initiative to seize opportunities;(3)changing concepts and dynamically choosing careers. |
