With the advent of big data era and the rapid development of communication technology, the learning way of people is also changed accordingly. Featured by short size and strong force, wide application scope, no limitation of classroom and network sharing, micro class teaching is gradually concerned by the teachers and a “micro class fever” is aroused in the educational circle. However, the application of micro class in the course of Ideological and Ethical Education in junior middle school is still in the attempt stage. The thesis discusses the application of micro class in the course of Ideological and Ethical Education in junior middle school. It considers that, micro class reverses the knowledge internalization and knowledge transmission processes, takes micro videos as the carrier, mobile learning, individualized learning and online learning as the objective, and single knowledge point or teaching link as the teaching contents. Micro class is featured by network sharing, no limitation of space or time, short size but strong force, clear target and wide application. The application of micro class can help promote the course development, improve the teaching efficiency, construct the harmonious class. With the theoretical basis of Marxist theory and educational psychology, the thesis learns that, although micro class attracts the attention of many educators and the research of the academic circle, there are still many insufficiencies. Therefore, the thesis discusses the practical application of micro class in the teaching of the course of Ideological and Ethical Education with a class of Grade Nine of A junior middle school as the example. It studies how to apply the micro class teaching into the course of Ideological and Ethical Education in junior middle school from three aspects, i.e. beforethe implementation, during the implementation and after the implementation. Before the implementation, firstly the teaching demands, learning environment and individual conditions of learners are analyzed, and then an Ideological and Ethical Education class of junior middle school is designed from such aspects as teaching contents, teaching objective, micro class materials and micro class teaching evaluation; during the implementation, the preparation before class, the class teaching and the evaluation after class are recorded and discussed. At last, the thesis analyzes the teaching effects of the micro class from aspects of students, teachers and teachers of other subjects, analyzes the efficiency of micro class teaching from the attitude of students to the micro class, the feedback to the learning effects of micro class teaching and the class design according to the data of questionnaire, elaborates the problems existing in the micro class teaching practice and then concludes the following countermeasures: pay attention to the content selection of micro class teaching, diversification and comprehensiveness of micro class contents, emphasize the cultivation of students’ learning quality, and improve the comprehensive teaching ability of teachers. The case study in the thesis deeply reflects the student-oriented advantage of micro class. The combination of micro class model not only cultivates the self learning ability of students, activates the class atmosphere and enhances the emotions between students and teachers, but also promotes the understanding and mastery of students to class knowledge, achieves good teaching effect and provides new thought for other teachers in the course reform of Ideological and Ethical Education in middle school. However, as the micro class is still not widely applied, more practical experience is needed to promote the maturity of micro class model.
