Development and utilization of the curriculum resources has become an important part of the new curriculum reform and attracting more and more attention. China is a state with vast territory and multi-nations, there are many potential local folk art curriculum resources in China. Their unique nationality and artistry has important development and utilization value to the art teaching. Puyang straw painting is a precious treasure of folk art craft in Henan province. It absorbs the Chinese traditional art of painting, calligraphy, folk paper cutting, embroidery, carving and so on, and was named the intangible cultural heritage in 2014. Puyang straw painting has a long history and unique aesthetic characteristics, it can provide rich folk fine arts curriculum resources for primary and middle school fine arts teaching. Puyang straw painting has been incorporated into the Renmei version (Henan province)of Art Textbooks in primary school by the National Department of Education. Howere, it is not optimistic in the effective implementation of the current situation in the local primary school:although Puyang straw painting has entered the classroom, teachers haven’t prepared well for it;although it very popular with student, inadequate protection of time and place exist;although it has support from government,school don’t pay enough attention to it. The series of contradictions and conflicts set back the Puyang straw painting as the local folk curriculum resources in the primary school art teaching in the effective implementation.This paper takes Puyang straw painting as the research object, dig hard Puyang straw painting history and culture through consulting information. Interviewed and visited a number of straw painting processing factory and Folk Artists Studio. Explore straw painting skills techniques. Find out the way how to effective implement of the integration of the curriculum resources in straw painting art class in primary school by questionnaire survey and Teaching practice. Practical research on the combination of Puyang straw painting effective implementation at the local primary school, this paper from the following aspects.To begin with, made a field survey from the teachers, parents and students in three aspects. According to the results of horizontal and vertical survey analysis, find out the series of contradiction and conflict in Puyang straw painting curriculum resources in the process of implementation at the local primary school; Then, combining the regional characteristics of Puyang, from multiple aspects of Puyang straw painting at the local primary school can be effective implementation of the favorable conditions; Again is the practice and exploration of the Puyang straw painting in local primary schools, effective implementation of the wheat straw painting as teaching units, continue to integrate teaching resources, explore the straw painting in the fine arts classr effective implementation of teaching methods; Finally, combined with straw painting in art teaching at primary school in the practice exploration, summed up the significance of Puyang straw painting’s effective implementation Local primary school.This paper based on the study of development and utilization of straw painting this curriculum resources. try to explore the way how to effective implement Puyang straw painting at the local primary school art curriculum resources,and then appeal to the community, schools and parents to provide more favorable conditions for the effective implementation of folk art resources in local primary school art curriculum, to lay a solid foundation for the inheritance and promotion of ethnic folk art.
