"Life’s journey is long and the lessons learnt in childhood will determine its direction." Pre-school education, as an important part of the national education, is an important foundation of the basic education, and its quality is related to the quality of the entire nation. Kindergarten teachers, as a major force of pre-education, undertake the important task of educating children, and the level and quality of kindergarten has a close relationship to the teachers. Teachers’ interests, as their basic rights, should be protected by law. Whether the legitimate rights and interests of kindergarten teachers can be guaranteed or not directly affects teachers’ initiative and enthusiasm, and is also related to the quality of pre-school education. Rural kindergarten teachers are a special and large group of people in China, and whether their legitimate rights and interests can be guaranteed affects not only their own interests, but also the improvement of the rural education quality, the well-being of millions of families and children, even the harmony of our society. This research, taking Henan rural kindergarten teachers as the object, has studied systematically and deeply on the status quo and problems of rights and interests of rural kindergarten teachers, and made suggestions on protecting the rights and interests of rural kindergarten teachers.The research consists of six parts:The first part is the introduction. This part mainly introduces the reasons for choosing this topic, its significance, research status and research methods used in this study.The second part overviews the kindergarten education in Henan province. This part makes a brief introduction to kindergarten education in Henan Province, and analyzes the basic situation of rural kindergarten and the status quo of rural kindergarten teachers.The third part analyzes the laws, regulations and policies related to the protection of teachers’ rights and interests in kindergarten. This part, from the national level and the level of Henan Province, analyzes the laws and policies on the protection of rights and interests of kindergarten teachers during the various periods, and seeks to understand and grasp the situation of current laws and regulations to protect the rights and interests of the rural kindergarten teachers in China.The fourth part analyzes the status quo of the protection of rights and interests of rural kindergarten teachers in Henan Province. In this part, according to the survey data and interviews, the author has studied in detail and specifically the current state of the rights and interests of kindergarten teachers in rural areas of Henan Province and made the corresponding analysis.The fifth part is about the existing problems in the protection of the rights and interests of kindergarten teachers in Henan province. This part, on the basis of analyzing the status quo of the protection of the rights and interests of kindergarten teachers in Henan province, attempts to find out the major problems hindering the rights and interests of rural kindergarten teachers in terms of their professional rights and entitlements.The sixth part is about the suggestions to protect the rights and interests of kindergarten teachers in Henan province. This part, in response to the existing problems in the protection of the rights and interests of kindergarten teachers in Henan province, puts forward suggestions on how to protect the rights and interests of kindergarten teachers under the current circumstances, mainly from the levels of the government, the teachers, and the kindergartens.
