The professional skill is the necessary precondition and important part of the teaching ability for physical education teachers. Physical education students who are regarded as the future training of physical education teachers, if they are able to master teachers of vocational skills, which not only can provide a good back-up personnel resources for the construction of high quality PE teachers, but also can well shorten the entry after the adaptation. This research mainly adopts literature material method, investigation method, mathematical statistic analysis and so on.This thesis researches on the current situation of teachers’ professional skills of PE teachers by stratifying random selection of several different types of school sports.There are 223 PE Majors from normal universities and colleges and 20 internship instructor and 60 teaching majors from junior high school and elementary school for the survey. They come from education professional level 2012 in the central China Normal University, Wuhan Institute of physical education, Hubei University, Hubei second normal college of.This thesis considers the following ideas through research and analysis:First of all, in general physical education teachers’ professional skills are only in the middle level. However,it is able to achieve the basic requirements of the school sports work.Second, physical education teachers master interpersonal skills best, followed by the basic skills, then their teaching skills, the extracurricular exercise guidance ability comes the worse, research skills come the last in sorting sports normal college students.Third, in the specific ability of all kinds of skills from sports normal college students, they master teachers of the daily work well, including clothing instrument, interpersonal, manners and basic norms. They can develop the ability of the "primary level"in teaching by playing a leading role, such as the ability to write lesson plans, classroom discipline education means, the use of action error correction and other excellent performances; They are weak in adapting to the reality of the scene and the experience of the most common used teaching skills such as action demonstration and explanation, protection and help.Fourth, physical education students master various types of professional skills of teachers in different types of colleges and universities. However, normal school physical education students master better than other types of school physical education. What is more, comprehensive school sports teachers’ sports students grasp better than the single physical education institute.Lastly, their schools and the orientation of school development goals have a great influence on the training requirements oflanguage proficiency and the ability of scientific research for physical education teachers in different universities.Suggestions for this research:First, we still need to put more efforts in sports teacher’s training and constantly improve the professional skills of teachers in physical education so that they can adapt to society better as well as shorten the period of entry.Second, we need to pay attention to their common form of teaching abilities and improve their abilities in the process of training P.E. Students. Meanwhile, we also should pay attention to connecting their actual work with their school physical education closely.Third, we are expected to emphasize it is very necessary to develop themselves in need of social development in different universities.Fourth, all kinds of schools need to pay attention to the teacher’s occupation permit examination of all kinds of knowledge and the ability of the education and training in the training of students of physical education students.
