| In 2014,the Ministry of Education issued the "Opinions on Comprehensively Deepening Curriculum Reform and Implementing the Fundamental Task of Cultivating Virtue and Cultivating People",requiring schools to cultivate students’ core literacy as an urgent task,and the professional literacy of physical education teachers is one of the elements of cultivating students’ core literacy.In this study,the literature method,questionnaire survey method and mathematical statistics method were used to study the professional quality of physical education teachers in high schools in Guangyuan City.Taking the physical education teachers and some students of 10 high schools in the jurisdiction of Guangyuan City as the survey objects,the research and analysis were carried out from the three dimensions of professional knowledge,professional ability and professional attitude,and reasonable suggestions were put forward according to the current situation and problems,so as to provide reference for the development of the professional quality of physical education teachers in the region and provide ideas for the development of the professional quality of physical education teachers in prefecture-level cities with the same nature.Through the investigation of the current situation of professional quality of physical education teachers in high schools in Guangyuan City,the following results were obtained after systematic analysis:1.There are fewer teachers with senior or above professional titles in terms of teaching experience and professional titles,and teachers with intermediate and low-level professional titles account for half of the whole,and most of them have been employed in the past 10 years.In terms of gender and educational background,the ratio of teachers to men and women is very different,and the number of male teachers is about three times that of female teachers,and bachelor’s degree accounts for the majority.In terms of professional background,most physical education teachers are from physical education majors.2.In terms of professional knowledge,the average score of mastery of educational legal knowledge is lower than that of the other three subjects.The overall mastery of conditional knowledge is better,among which psychology has been valued by many teachers,and teachers have a good grasp of teaching materials processing and processing and teaching methods in practical knowledge.3.In terms of professional ability,in teaching ability,the completion of course tasks is very good,the teaching annual assessment results are better,the overall participation rate of teachers in the skills competition is high,but the winning rate in high-level competitions is not high,teachers’ individual sports ability is uneven,and teachers at the international and national sports levels are scarce.In the organization and guidance ability of extracurricular activities,high-level referees are scarce,and referees at different levels are unevenly distributed,but the training ability is more prominent.In the scientific research capacity,the annual output of papers is considerable,but the high-quality research results are relatively small.4.In terms of professional attitude,most of the physical education teachers’ understanding and attitude towards the profession are more rational,the restrictions of professional background and job stability are the reasons why most people choose to teach,and the sense of professional identity and belonging is relatively strong.A survey of physical education teachers’ subject attitudes found that the majority of people are very passionate about high school physical education.In terms of attitude towards students,we can basically treat each student with respect and fairness.5.There are obvious differences in the professional background and professional quality of teachers at different levels.In terms of teachers,professional knowledge,professional ability and professional attitude,national key high schools have advantages on the whole.Specifically,each has its own characteristics.In terms of academic qualifications,postgraduate degrees are the most important in the country,and undergraduate degrees are the most in municipal key high schools;In terms of professional ability,teachers in national key high schools have the highest level of individual sports,but the level of referee and training is more prominent in municipal key high schools.Research conclusion:1.Guangyuan City physical education teachers have a comparison of academic qualifications.Most of them have bachelor’s degrees,mainly in physical education.The gender ratio is uneven,with more men than girls,and middle and senior teachers predominate,but the replacement of old and new teachers is slow.2.Professional knowledge: On the whole,the mastery is relatively solid and can meet the needs of daily study and training,but in terms of disciplinary knowledge,there is still room for deepening the knowledge of education and law.3.Professional ability: teaching ability is moderately high,extracurricular activity organization and guidance ability is uneven,scientific research,paper output is suspected of being large and incomplete,and there is still room for deepening the ability to write and publish papers.4.In terms of professional attitude,teachers have a strong sense of identity and belonging to the profession,a friendly attitude towards students,and a strong sense of lifelong learning,but lack of learning time and learning materials.5.There are obvious differences in the professional background and professional quality of teachers at different levels.National key high schools are slightly stronger in terms of teachers,and in terms of professional knowledge,teachers of municipal key high schools have stronger ability to organize and guide extracurricular activities than other levels. |
