With the rapid development of China’s economy, parents pay much more attention on their children’ education, meanwhile parents are wiling to and also have the ability to invest in their children’s education, this is the reason why tutoring industry are booming and rise rapidly. This led to the extracurricular counseling industry came into being. Senior high school students’ participation in extracurricular tutoring is a common phenomenon. With the author’s work experience, the author designed a questionnaire survey and case interviews, after study,the author draw the following conclusions:on the one hand, tutoring can do improve students’ learning skills and improve the students’ achievement; extracurricular counseling can improve students’ interpersonal skills, can improve the parent-child relationship; after-school classes can improve the self-confidence of students. At the same time, on the other hand tutoring affects the school teaching, is an extension of the examination oriented education; extra-curricular class courses aggravate more heavy burden of students’learning the fees of high school extracurricular counseling courses are high, it brings heavy economic burden to the family. At last, based on the above analysis the author proposes improvements to the students and parents,schools, governments, tutoring agencies the author hope tutoring agencies can healthy development, parents and students can seek advantages and avoid disadvantages, and really get help from tutoring agencies.
