Along with the advancement of Reform and Opening-up policy and the Construction of Well-off Society in an All-around Way, China has achieved great accomplishment continually in economy and people’s living standard has risen substantially. However, there is still a wide gap in economic development between urban and rural areas or among different districts. Particularly in the remote Central and Western regions, the economic development is laggard and public service supply is inadequate. The phenomenon that students in most rural areas have no adequate nutritional food to eat during school time exists universally. Social organizations and governments have got down to the supply of rural students’ nutrition public service successively, both of them has made an achievement. Meanwhile, the weakness of their supply ability and efficiency has exposed. Improving the supplying situation of rural students’ nutrition public service is the marrow of ensuring and improving people’s livelihood and narrowing the gap between city and country for government. Therefore, the deep and full research on supplying mechanism of Chinese rural compulsory educational students’ nutritional meal has pivotal theoretical and practical significance.The thesis is written through the clue that from propose problem to analyze problem and settle problem. Except for the Introduction part and Summary and Prospect part, the thesis is mainly composed of the following four parts.The first part is the constituent of the supplying mechanism of rural students’ nutritional meal. This part set forth the constituent of the supplying mechanism of rural students’ nutritional meal from five aspects that include the supplying subject, supplying content, supplying means, supplying operating mechanism and supplying mode. The construction of the supplying mechanism of rural students’ nutritional meal provides the basic analytical framework for the following research.The second part is analysis of the characteristic of different periods’ supplying mechanism of Chinese rural students’ nutritional meal. Through looking back to the development and evolution of the mechanisms, draw conclusions on the trait of government supply means and social organization volunteer supply means.In addition, generalize the inner incentive and logic of the two periods’transformation. Ultimately, demonstrate the necessity and rationality of constructing a multiple subjects students’ nutritional meal supplying cooperative network.The third part is practical investigation. The research chose County D of Hubei Province as an example to launch a study on the supplying state of local students’ nutritional meal and students’ satisfaction by questionnaire and interview. Then conclude the problems that still exist in fact and try to find out the potential reasons that hide in deep mechanism layer.The last part presents measurements and suggestions. Based on Public Goods theory and Network Governance theory, come up with the Three Hands Join Effort principle which advocate governments collaborate with enterprises and social organizations and interact with each other to maximize their strong points in different supply procedure. Concretely, rely on establishing policies and laws, making innovation in supplying methods and subjects so as to improve the supplying mechanism of Chinese rural students’nutritional meal.The innovations of this research include four aspects. Firstly, the new research viewpoint that review the development history of the supplying mechanism of Chinese rural compulsory educational students’nutritional meal in the round. Secondly, the research topic that the supplying mechanism of Chinese rural compulsory educational students’nutritional meal has not been concerned by scholars previously. Thirdly, the research utilizes both normative and empirical research methods, and brings in the IPA analytical method to the satisfaction survey. Finally, countermeasures and suggestions are creative, especially the Three Hands Join Effort theory has not only obvious creativity but also prominent applicability.
