The content of history course is various and complex, is closely linked to human society and is a systematic subject that is based on reality, explores the past and looks forward to the future, which has an important significance for the development of the comprehensive quality of students. In 2011, the Ministry of Education revised the new junior high school history curriculum standards to request the students can not only grasp the cultural knowledge, but also draw on the wisdom in the history, learn to look at society and think about life by a dialectical view, and set up a correct emotion, attitude and value outlook to obtain the comprehensive development.However,due to the limitations of various realistic factors, the implementation of relevant standards meets with a certain degree of difficulty, teachers need innovation in teaching content and reform in teaching methods to play the role and value of history to the greatest extent.As a kind of history curriculum resources, The local cultural resources has the important function in both teaching and educating students,which is the basis of the new curriculum standard to implement fully.In the history teaching of junior middle school,effective utilization of local cultural resources can break through the limit of traditional teaching mode,enhance the practical and interesting of history and improve the quality of teaching. At present,the local cultural resources have not been paid much attention by teachers, and its application in the history teaching of junior middle school is not ideal.Take Xiangyang area for example,through comparison and integration the cultural information resources of Xiangyang and the content junior middle school history textbook,can create a history teaching which not only conforms to the curriculum standard and satisfied with local characteristics, and promote the reform of history education in the middle school by putting forward some reasonable suggestions and measures.The full text is divided into three parts:The title of first part is "the necessity and feasibility of the use of local cultural resources in the junior high school history teaching",which mainly expounds the role of local cultural resources in history teaching of junior middle school is irreplaceable, and analyze the feasible application.The title of second part is "the status quo and the feasibility of using Xiangyang cultural resources in history teaching of junior middle school".Through collecting the Xiangyang cultural resources, integrating the teaching contents related to historical materials of Xiangyang, investigating the use of local cultural resources in Xiangyang junior middle school, determine that Xiangyang area have the conditions in developing local teaching activities.The title of third part is "the importance of implementation strategies and suggestions of Xiangyang culture resources in the history teaching of junior middle school ", which mainly discusses the significance of applying cultural resources of Xiangyang in the history teaching of junior middle school,puts forward implementation of local teaching plan according to two different teaching activity occasions-classroom activities and extracurricular activities, and suggests that the schools develop scientific and effective local history field teaching evaluation mechanism.
