With the deepening of the high school history curriculum reform, the local course resources got unprecedented development, and the local history curriculum resources as part of the local course resources deserves the same degree of attention, however, in fact, the implementation is not optimistic. In the high school history teaching, how to give the local history curriculum resources a place to play a role, how to promote the high school history teaching development and exert its maximum value, it’s worth to study. This paper discusses in detail about local history curriculum resources in Wuhan before, according to its development in high school history teaching and application status, expand the corresponding research.In Wuhan, there are countless, full of Chu-culture local history curriculum resources, these local history curriculum resources through careful screening and elaborate selecting can be completely brought into the teaching content of middle school history teaching. However, the author found there are a lot of research about Wuhan local history, but ignoring the research about the application of local course resources in high school history teaching, causing the partition of historical knowledge and social life, Students feel hometown familiar sometime, but such rich history of local curriculum resources can not have effective development and application in teaching, it direct impact on the deepening of curriculum reform. So the author thinks it’s necessary that take Wuhan area as an example to research the local curriculum resources development and application in the high school history teaching.Firstly, this article expounds the concept and classification of local history curriculum resources, and the relationship with the history. Secondly discusses the significance, principle, ways and methods of the local resource development and application. Next, expressed the core content of this paper:taking Wuhan area as an example to summarize the local course resources. And through the actual classic teaching case to show the great value of rich local curriculum resources in teaching in Wuhan area. Finally through the analysis of the status quo of the high school history teaching in Wuhan, put forward corresponding improving measures, and hope for inspiring teachers and students in Wuhan and make progress together.
