Instruction design is one of the most important link in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. In order to achieve good teaching effect, teachers need to make good instruction design with proper teaching objectives, teaching objects, teaching contents, teaching principles and students’actual demand. Instruction design also has guiding significance to classroom teaching and can improve the teaching efficiency as twice the result with half the effort. With the Chinese language popular all over the world and the increasing Chinese volunteer teachers sent out by NOCFL, instruction design of teaching Chinese language as a foreign language requires further study. Taken Thailand primary school students as research objectives, the writer conducted case study in Taksinsueksa School to summarize the Chinese teaching practice in Thailand.The article is divided into five parts:introduction; Chinese teaching background in Taksinsueksa School; instructional design cases; teaching design experience; and conclusion. The first part introduces the research background, significance, methods and research status. The second part is the detailed elaboration and analysis of the Chinese teaching in Taksinsueksa School. Taking in the design fragments, the third part contains teaching evaluation of the teaching design, analyzing instruction design with cases and showing teaching effects with questionnaires. The fourth part is to make conclusion of teaching experience. The last part is a conclusion of the whole research and the defects and shortcomings of the study are also pointed out in this part. In addition, the writer believe that for those who are not familiar with their teaching subjects, if they want to get good teaching effects, they must work hard before classes. Knowing about their students, studying textbooks and researching teaching methods, turn the unfavorable factors into favorable factors; while after the classroom teaching practices, teachers also need to sum up the work later. After the writer taught Chinese in Thai for one year, The writer also summed up my own points, including six areas:primarily in the teaching object design needs to consider the age factor, curriculum, Chinese level, the background of learners; design teaching objectives need to consider the general objectives of teaching Chinese, course objectives, segment teaching objectives, unit objectives and lesson objectives; how to properly select teaching content; how to choose teaching mode in the classroom; how to choose the type of homework welcomed by the students and how to revealed the teaching assessment. The writer hope these practices can provide reference resources to people who have engaged in volunteer or engaged in teaching Chinese as a foreign language teacher.
