Thai Chinese teaching has a long history.With the strong support of the Ministry of Education of Thailand,more and more middle schools offer Chinese courses.From June 2017 to March 2018,the author carried out a ten-month Chinese language teaching work in Thai Chaiyaphumbhukdeechumphon School.This School is the largest public school in Thailand and opened Chinese course in 2009.It has a certain representation in the Chinese teaching of non-overseas Chinese public schools in northeastern Thailand.Oral Chinese class is the main type of Chinese class in this school.The level of Chinese language of students is closely related to the teaching effect of oral Chinese class.In exploring the improvement of teaching effect,the research and improvement of teaching method has always been the most important.PPP teaching method has always occupied a place in the field of teaching Chinese as a second language because of its prominent pattern,easy operation and emphasis on knowledge step by step.More importantly,this teaching mode fits well with the Chinese teaching environment and the characteristics of the teaching objects of Guyeben Middle School.Therefore,on the basis of PPP model,the author tries to put forward a teaching strategy which is more suitable for the present stage of oral Chinese teaching in senior high schools and junior high schools in Thailand.The whole paper is divided into five parts.In the introduction part,starting with the reasons for choosing the topic,the summary of relevant research results and the significance of the research,the research background,the application of PPP model in English and Chinese as a foreign language teaching in China,the research status of the combination of PPP model and other teaching methods and the research value of this paper are elaborated respectively.The first chapter analyses the characteristics of PPP model itself from the perspective ofconnotation and theoretical basis,and passes through.Comparing the similarities and differences between this mode and task-based teaching method,this paper puts forward the teaching strategy of combining PPP mode with task organically.Chapter 2 shows the current situation of Chinese teaching in Chaiyaphumbhukdeechumphon School from many aspects,including school environment,teaching objects,the use of teaching materials,the setting and inspection system of Chinese curriculum.While summing up the experience of Chinese teaching in schools,it also puts forward the aspects requiring improvement.On this basis,it further analyses the adaptability of the teaching strategy of combining PPP mode with task applied in the oral Chinese class of Chaiyaphumbhukdeechumphon School.Chapter 3 designs two teaching cases under the guidance of teaching strategy,with the theme of "asking for directions" and "shopping" that primary Chinese learners must learn,and takes into account the language,cultural basis and communicative needs of the teaching objects in detail.The purpose of factors is to make the teaching process fully embody the teaching principles of "student-centered" and "close to real communication",so as to achieve "learning for application" and achieve good teaching results.The conclusion part summarizes the full paper and reflects some shortcomings.The development of International Chinese Education is inseparable from the efforts of every volunteer Chinese teachers.We have the obligation to sum up the problems and the solutions we have found in teaching,and put forward effective suggestions.The author hopes that this study can make a modest contribution to the development of volunteer teaching in Thailand.
