Research In The Problems Of The Administration Of Teaching Chinese As A Foreign Language In Chinese-Thai Cooperated Universities

The cooperation between China and Foreign Countries regarding education development has proven to be an important stage in the process of having China establishing Confucius institutes on demand and having to send Chinese Language teachers and volunteers in many foreign countries.The Chinese government and leaders view this great effort as a tremendous achievement. The researches in the administration of teaching Chinese language as a foreign language in the Chinese-Thai cooperated universities therefore, will definitely be a good contribution in spreading the Chinese language across.Khon Kaen University has opened a department of Teaching Chinese as a foreign language since2007, in order to improve the its cooperation with South West University. This thesis analyses and arranges the documents pertaining to teaching Chinese as a foreign language. The investigations done so far, takes Khon Kaen university as an example and discusses the problems that are always faced in the Chinese-Thai cooperated universities such as; organizing the classes, choosing the materials, the methods of teaching etc. After the analysis of these problems the thesis provides suggestions and solutions. Some of the problems that were discovered within the context of this thesis were related to classroom management, campus life, and organization/management of teaching staff.Therefore, it shows how necessary it is to have a good system of the administration of teaching the Chinese language in place.At last, the thesis gives a basic suggestion in creating a good education’s system, the education staff, and how to improve the international educational relations.
