The purpose of Chinese teaching in high school not only completes the teaching task on the classroom and also improves the interest to learn Chinese through extracurricular teaching and student’s Chinese accomplishment and Chinese capability. Having beneficial, efficient and systematic extracurricular teaching needs t make students concern life and growth, concern on aesthetics and be happy and pleased to have inspiration and thinking for life to enhance student’s human cultivation. However, under such situation taking improvement of score in the examination as the teaching purpose, students in high school are busy in study and Chinese teaching has heavy task, which have influenced extracurricular teaching of Chinese. Along with rapid development of information technology and network technology in the time of new media, students in high school spend more time in networking on mobile phone. With development of Baidu Post Bar, school post bar becomes popular in students in high school that students using mobile phone have opportunity to concern and browse post bar. However, they spend more time on casually reading some fragmented entertainment information without plan and purpose.In this paper, the author explores that as a Chinese teacher in new times, he/she could improve the occasion to attempt to build virtual platform of extracurricular teaching of Chinese and study exchange under the help f smart mobile phone and new media such as Baidu Post Bar to innovate ways and methods to stimulate student’s enthusiasm for study, increase student’s reading capacity, extend their vision and guide issues to inspire students for thinking and conduct many extracurricular Chinese activities, to conduct extracurricular Chinese teaching activity.Theory and practical preparation for Baidu Post Bar’s application in extracurricular Chinese teaching had been done in this research through literature research, questionnaire survey and interview. In Chapter Ⅰ, the author conducted questionnaire in his/her working school named Nanyang No.1 High School to know student’s use of mobile phone for networking, reading on the mobile and use of Baidu Post Bar and the intention and demand to build study exchange platform. The author found that it is common for fresh students of high school to network with mobile phone. The frequently and intensively login platforms for reading upon networking with mobile phone are incluing QQ, Baidu Post Bar and Wechat, etc. Since Baidu Post Bar is more open and easier in use compared to other platforms, it is more applicable to be extracurricular Chinese teaching platform for interaction among students and teachers. In Chapter Ⅱ, we understand through research of relevant literature of extracurricular Chinese teaching in high school and interview with Chinese teachers in each grade in this school that nowadays the questions of insufficient recognition and improper operation influencing on extracurricular teaching exist in extracurricular Chinese teaching in high school.Based on the investigation, the author and colleagues in teaching and research group of this grade joint build extracurricular Chinese study exchange platform of this school named "Dong Lu Chun Feng Wu Yu Dian" with host and admin of post bar to classifiably update certain posts to guide students for extracurricular study. In Chapter III, extracurricular teaching is described in detail in Baidu Post Bar including extracurricular reading, extracurricular writing, extracurricular topic discussion, calligraphy exchange and extracurricular Chinese activity, etc and the role of this practice is summarized in improving student’s study interest in Chinese and enthusiasm in Chinese study, expanding their reading capacity and knowledge, improving their writing capability and enhancing exchange and communication among students and teachers and among students. In Chapter IV, after Baidu Post Bar application and try of extracurricular Chinese teaching, the author rethinks this practice according to student’s feedback and his/her own feeling in operating the bar and finds the following disadvantages: insufficient guidance on how to read under the environment of new media; slow update of content on the bar; little content, low concern and rough administration, etc. The targeted countermeasure is proposed:to increase guidance on reading method, increase student admins, study management technology of post bar and improve management capability, etc.
